Welcome All to Hale Koa Kennels were we raise " No Ka Oi "or the best of the best in White Shepherds. Hale Koa is a Hawaiian phrase meaning 'house of the warrior'. Although we are located in Northeast Illinois, our hearts belong to the Hawaiian Islands. Hale Koa Kennels is a home based kennel where we can devote our attention and detail to the care and raising of AKC, UKC, AWSA registered White Shepherds. All of our dogs live inside our home right along side the family, we do not raise kennel dogs, we raise our dogs to be members of the family. We have owned, trained and raised German Shepherds privately since 1975, and started Hale Koa Kennels in 2005 to promote these beautiful animals. All our our dogs have earned their Championships , with two having earned their GRAND CHAMPIONSHIPS !
