We raise and train "No Ka Oi "or "the best of the best" in White Shepherds.

Hale Koa is a Hawaiian phrase meaning 'house of the warrior'.

Although we are located in Northeast Illinois, our hearts belong to the Hawaiian Islands.

Hale Koa is a home based kennel where we can devote our attention and detail to the care and raising of AKC, UKC, AWSA registered White Shepherds. All of our dogs live inside our home right alongside the family - we do not raise kennel dogs

We have owned, trained and raised German Shepherds privately since 1975, and started Hale Koa White Shepherds in 2005 to promote these beautiful animals.

Our dogs are UKC conformation Champions or Grand Champions.
