Hale Koa is a Hawaiian phrase for 'house of the warrior'. Although we are located in Northeast Illinois, our hearts belong to the Hawaiian Islands.
Hale Koa Kennels is a home based kennel where we can devote our attention and detail to the care and raising of AKC, UKC, AWSA registered White Shepherds. We have owned, trained and raised German Shepherds privately since 1975, and started Hale Koa Kennels in 2005 to promote these beautiful animals.
We are proud to announce Koa finished 2008 in the UKC Top Ten, and took WSCC Best of Breed, BIS at Arlington Park on March 22, 2009.
